Diamond3 Coming To At&t And T-Mobile? With WM7?
An unconfirmed source says the HTC Obsession aka Diamond 3 will supposedly be released on At&t and T-Mobile this year with WM7 and there are no reports of a CDMA (Sprint/Verizon) version in the works.
The specs that we have so far (via WMExperts) are a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz processor, GSM/HSDPA connectivity, 3.7 inch capacitive AMOLED display with multi-touch, 5 megapixel camera with flash and HD video recording, 512MB RAM/512MB ROM, 4GB of internal storage, microSD expansion (up to 32GB) and a 1230mAh battery.

You may want to re-research this piece again.
(1) That HTC roadmap from last year made *no* mention of the HTC Obsession; they were all T-Mo devices
(2) The HTC Obsession story and specs was reported for the first time from WMExperts on Monday
(3) You may want to mention the part about it launching with Windows Mobile 7, it’s sort of big news to some
(4) There is no jogging of memory as PPCG has never covered that device before–no one had, till Monday
(5) You may want to mention that this “info” is an unconfirmed rumor from an anonymous source, not verified by T-Mo, AT&T or HTC

i did find http://www.wmpoweruser.com/?tag=htc-obsession posting of this. it makes me wonder 2 things.
1. would a launch of a tp3 be next line of device?
2. what is going on with sprint? wmpu states D3 will only come in gsm. sprint is pushing their next big thing of 4g, but will they go gsm or get bought out by a gsm network as all the good htc devices set to launch are going exclussive to gsm networks.
@Malatesta – Sorry Mal, I’ve edited the article some.
Wow, T-mobile finally spending some money to get these badass phones, too bad they won’t spend their money of building some new towers
It appears Sprint has no interest regarding acquiring any WinMo devices for their customers.
In fact, Sprint may not have any interest in its Customers.
