Not only does Sprint have a special announcement coming in February, now HP has something up their sleeve as well. February 9, 2011 at their WebOS event in San Francisco many of us suspect they are going to announce several products, including tablets. Maybe they will officially announce the Topaz or the Opal, two tablets Engadget previously mentioned here.
What’s exciting about the announcement? The email HP sent to attendees asks them to ‘Think Big. Think Small. Think Beyond.’ What do you think about that? It tells me they have a big secret in store! WebOs is very much alive. I can only assume that HP has been paying attention to the public’s device specs wish list. If HP doesn’t deliver some nice hardware this year then WebOs is doomed. I’d jump back to WebOs in a heartbeat if they release a solid built phone with a 4.3″ or larger touch-screen, 1ghz+, front facing camera, and so on. Can’t wait to hear their announcement.
It’s a tablet, the HP guys were here at my job the other day and they said something about releasing a tablet next month
