Sprint’s next Android phone, the Samsung Moment is now available to purchase.  Like the Verizon Droid, its a touchscreen slider with a 3.2MP camera, but it boasts an AMOLED display and an 800MHz processor.  It also has the standard WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, EV-DO rev. A, visual voicemail, 3.5mm jack, microSD card and a TouchWiz UI.

Get ready for this, its only $179.99 on a 2-year contract after a $100 mail-in rebate, making it the cheapest Android phone on the market today.

Hero is the same price and much better…all it lacks is the physical keyboard, but trust me….you wont miss the keyboard with this phone (Hero I mean)

I know right, why wouldn’t of HTC made the TP2 with an awesome 800mhz processor!

i jsut went and checked it out as a possible pick up. It was poo. Feels like a cheap piece of crap in your hands. The keyboard has a silly layout and feels cheap. The only two pros I could find was the screen and the speed. The LED screen is really nice. And the 800MHZ proc makes it very snappy.

But, IMHO, it’s poo….I’m just sayin’

well i had the hero for a few days and took it back and got the moment and there is only one thing that i have a problem with and thats the battery life, i had a worker at sprint tell me there is some app that i could find on here that will help with the battery life but i cant find it, but other than the battery the phone is great and i love it
