Breaking News – Unlimited Calls
A 'Geeker has given BigDiesel07 confirmation that Sprint is launching a new service tomorrow. This service, avaiable for anybody who has the Unlimited Data Plan, will get unlimited calls to ANY mobile number, not just Sprint phone numbers.

It is called 'Any Mobile, Any Time'. It will only be available on the new everything data plan (both individual and shared) and ONLY the new SERO plans (Sorry any current SERO plan holders).

This is awesome! Thanks Sprint!
It is great for most I guess, but I have $30 SERO plan with Fav 3 and I rarely go over my minutes. I’ll stick with SERO.
This is really great news for Sprint.
They emailed me saying “as a premier customer, we’re letting you know that tomorrow we’re making a big announcement… last time we did this, we introduced the everything plan… bla bla bla.” Had a feeling it was something along these lines, they sure do like talking themselves up lol.
damn i wonder how much that’s going to be
what is this new sero plan? everything plus?
$70 a month
dOOfus – the new “SERO” plan is the Everything Plus plan
Don’t they offer that already as part of the simply everything plan?
Wake me up when they offer unlimited calls to Europe.

Yes all that is required of this plan is the 450 minute plan. Which starts at 69.99$ Not bad if ur going to get unlimited minutes to other on their mobiles! I did read a restriction n that I didn’t quite understand. It said no more than 800 minutes of use. But I am not sure if it means roaming charges as well.. We to shall c!! It’s a new day! I think I can lower my minute package.
If you are roaming, this plan counts toward your minutes. Plus, minutes count if you call a land line or someone calls you from a land line.
I spoke with a rep just now, she says it goes into effect on October 10th.
So yeah, don’t start blowin up your friend’s cells just yet lol
The Sprint Now Network just got even better. Effective today, 9/10/09, domestic U.S. wireless to wireless calls are unlimited for customers on Sprint’s Everything Data, Everything Data Family/Share or Business Advantage Messaging and Data Plans with Any Mobile, AnytimeSM. Calls to and from any one of 250 million wireless customers, regardless of carrier, are included while on the domestic Sprint network. Say goodbye to restrictive calling circles.
it starts right now i manage a few sprint stores. and the spimply everything plan is unlimited everything. were talking about the other unlimited data plans. dont knock sprint.. this is revolutionary. have you noticed the trend anyone? verizon and at&t continue to raise prices and fees and yet sprint still finds ways to save you money? now its not for everyone of course theres not a one size fits all. but damn just be happy for once lol haha… anyways spread the news more ppl the better
Sprint deserves high praise for this move! I was wavering between Verizon & Sprint for the new TP2 and this will definitely push me over to Sprint!
it starts on the next billing cycle, so the people whos billing cycle starts tomorrow, i envy you!!!!
I just called and had this done, but you guys need to remember 1 thing. Yes, everything is unlimited BUT, if you’re calling a landline phones ie 1-800 #’s, business’s, house phone, etc, you only have 450 anytime minutes for that. It’s not completely unlimited everything. This is why you have to have the Simply Everything 450 and above. This will take into effect on your next billing cycle as well. Still, a very good plan IMO!
Well duh, it clearly states, Mobile to Mobile,
Not mobile to landline.
The majority of my minutes are to mobile cell phones and I rarely call other numbers besides for my home and some 800 numbers and that isnt even 50 minutes a month.
Sprint did it good
Pretty much a done deal that if you have old SERO this will NEVER apply?
I can NEVER leave my precious $30 month SERO. Its going to take more than free cell to cell offers to pull me away. Only thing thats going to pull me off my precious is if Sprint goes FIBER OPTIC Internet and maked it mandatory to use it with their new Snapdragon, tegra phones. Then..GOOD BYE SERO!
I think it is an awesome way for them to compete in this ever evlolving cell phone market… Good Job Sprint
i just switched to this plan from simply everything it seems like its worth it
What about a decent family plan with Data?
just got off the phone with the rep, said since i already have the previous family everything data 1500, this new plan will take effect on the 21st(new bill cycle) reguardless if i would have called or not… also gave me a touch pro 2 for 250 because of a one time 70 bill credit and 150 for 2 year upgrade… great timing…
I’m so lost. I thought the everything plan I have been on for a year was unlimited for everything already (voice and data) for $99. My bill is always the same and I call landlines all the time. What is the advantage here that I haven’t already been getting?
Juddrl- you will see no benefit since you have the “Simply Everything” plan. That includes ALL calls.
This addition is to those plans that have an Anytime Minutes limit- now those plans include UNLIMITED Mobile-to-Mobile (NOT landline) calls to ANY mobile phone regardless of carrier.
Basically, since I have the Everything Data 450 plan, I’m now getting unlimited Mobile to Mobile minutes for free…and given how many people don’t even have a landline any more, that’s BIG news…and it saves me $30 a month (more, with my military discount) over the Simply Everything plan – I don’t use my monthly allotment of minutes normally, and almost all my friends use cell phones exclusively. Not to mention that now my boss’ cell calls to me during the day won’t cost me/affect my “Anytime Minutes”, it’s AWESOME news.
Can’t wait for Sprint’s October releases of their Android-based phones!!
One of these days, us old SERO people will get our free any mobile to mobile minutes????
Oh wow, that’s free? Nice…
For me, it’s not necessary as I never go over my minutes, but some people on the simply everything plan will be able to save some coin!
juddrl you can probably drop down to 69.99 plan if most of your calls are to other mobile phones.
Get a Google Voice number and You have unlimited Anytime to Mobile or Landlines!
If you Have the free Pick3 or the Pick5 option on your plan.
ok, i have everything messaging family plan (2 lines 1500 mins) and on just my line i have the data pack, would i be included in this or no?
erockvr6 – from my understanding, yes. I have the 3000 family everything data plan with 4 lines. They told me it will be automatic on my next bill. What this will allow for ultimately is for people like me to drop down to the 1500 plan. I usue anywhere form 1700-1900 minutes, which 90% are mobile to mobile. If I drop down to the 1500 minute plan, I can save some good cash!! And that’s the plan.
well i might as well drop from simply everything to a lower plan and save some moolah as well
I have the simply everything 450 plan and most of my calls are usually to other mobile phones. Last month I went over my 450 minutes by I can’t recall right now how much, but it cost me a pretty penny. I am sure most of my calls were to mobile phones but I know some were also to 800 #s and a few to landlines. Now with this implementation of free mobile to mobile regardless of carrier I won’t have that issue any more.
If you have the unlimited plan…doesn’t that mean you can already call any mobile phone at no cost ?
I am failing to understand what’s so special about this new plan
