There is a new service pack for Microsoft’s SQL Server Compact 3.5. Not sure what that is? In a nutshell, SQL Server Compact 3.5 is a free, easy-to-use embedded database engine that lets developers build robust Windows Desktop and mobile applications that run on all Windows platforms including Windows XP, Vista, Pocket PC, and Smartphone. This service pack includes the following updates and fixes-
- Support for Windows Server 2008 with improved syncing
- Compatibility with 64-bit computers
- Supports working with a SQL Server Compact 3.5 database using the Transact-SQL Editor in Visual Studio 2010
- Various bug fixes
