HTC Touch Pro2 People Application – Small Update Released
OK so for you Touch Pro 2 users out there, how ever many faithful followers there may still be running stock! Now that is key STOCK Rom... It appears that HTC has issued a small update to the People Application. It is supposed to add stability to the Application itself. While this is a small update it should be noted that you can grab it here.
This update is for the People application on devices with ROM versions between 2.00.xxx.x and 2.10.xxx.x. Details are not shared, but you should expect a smooth, bug-free experience.
Then connect and synchronize the phone with your PC via Microsoft ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center using the USB cable and copy the downloaded file to the Touch Pro2. Start the file on your phone and follow the on-screen instructions.

Hey, give HTC a break, a few other issues must have come up. And so what if they are 14 months behind schedule on releasing this important update…
I sometimes wonder if HTC gets all their updates from XDA! lol
So, stock as in not Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint? My ROM is 4.01.605.15 from 5/14/2010. Verizon “stock” MR2.
Is this just for the folks who purchased directly from HTC or are using a non-carrier-branded device?
@Tybalt39 – Yeah, pretty much. Nobody can use this update without a quantum leap backwards. Sucks. But those devious minds at HTC forgot that we have a secret weapon – the Mobile Underground. That’s where where people from planet earth live and they do stuff that makes Sense! lol smh
an official full rom upgrade to build 21916 or the 6.5.3 would be nice allthough some apps that i use dont display properly within those 6.5.3 roms.
I guess we only have to wait until is part of the energy rom =)
