CTIA: Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus headed to AT&T in the coming months
Palm is expected to showcase the Palm Pre Plus and Pixi plus headed to the AT&T’s network in the coming months. The Pre Plus and Pixi Plus will be available for $149.99 and $49.99 for new subscribers ($100 mail-in rebate and a two-year contract). The Palm Pre will be similar to the Verizon Wireless version (16GB of storage, GPS, WiFi, and Bluetooth 2.1) and the Pixi should be similar as well (8GB of storage , GPS, WiFi, and Bluetooth 2.1). It is said that AT&T will also be offering blue backplate variation of the device. Both UMTS / HSDPA devices will support AT&T's new Address Book service as a Synergy sync option, and will have free auto-connect access to the carrier's WiFi +20,000 hotspots.

too little – too late for palm, I don’t see anyone getting this over a android, winmo or iphone.
3.1″ is not going to cut it anymore.
yea palm has to make some major changes
This is perfect for some people. Maybe not power users no, but my boss (female) loves it and can use it for all work needs. Also my wife (who is a very small person) really want it and will be getting one as it fits her much better then the large full keyboard phone she has now. The phone most definitely has a market, whether or not that’s primarily a non-techie/female market is inconsequential.
Palm must either be allergic to making money or have retarded executives high up in their chain of commands. The Pre is a small device as is, releasing the Pixie which is even smaller vs having something more iphone-ish/Touch Pro 2-ish would have had a much better result.
Instead they keep regurgitating the same failed hardware with no real improvements or useful updates in a fast paced market.
