[DISCUSSION] Do you agree that the iPad is responsible for many jobs lost?

Folks it is the 21st century and technology has tremendously improved over the last decade. We’ve all realized that reading books on the Kindle or on our cellphone’s seem to be much easier and more efficient. Why? Because we don’t have to drive around and look for the books, we can purchase them and read them all from one device.

Some would say this is a wonderful turnaround from years ago while others are saying they think that this is the reason certain jobs are no longer available. Jesse Jackson, a US Politician basically stood up and said it’s Apple’s fault the jobs aren’t available or needed.

Take a look at the video of Jesse Jackson pointing the finger at Apple below:

To sum it all up, he’s claiming that because the iPad makes reading so much more convenient, everyone who works at bookstores or other publishing industries will lose their jobs. As the sources suggested, he’s definitely ignoring the fact of all the wealth the iPad did create so far and also that every single technological innovation in the world has experienced a similar dynamic. Again, it’s the 21st century.
