Samsung Focus Available In November At AT&T

Available sometime in November for $199.99 with new 2-year contract at AT&T is the Samsung Focus Windows Phone 7 device. Some sites are reporting that release date is the 8th while others are reporting it will be the 20th. We aren’t sure who is right just yet. This will be one of few WP7 devices they carry that also has a Super-AMOLED screen but their very first Samsung version of this platform.

If you are a huge iPhone fan and want a device that compares to it, you may want to try this one. The Samsung Focus is almost as thin as the iPhone 4 and with the Super-AMOLED display looks very similar as far as screen resolution goes. A piece of glass tops the display, which is wrapped in a glossy bezel that’s trimmed with metallic accents. The Focus is very light weight and packed full with very powerful hardware.

  • Apps don’t persist in the background

Video review of ATT’s Samsung Focus done by Intomobile:

Although there seem to be a few bugs Microsoft needs to work out such as no twitter integration and lacking the copy and paste options, we really hope these features change before the official launch of WP7 on the CDMA networks. After reading the specifications on this device and watching the review, what are your thoughts? Would you consider getting one of these if you have an iPhone already? We want to know!
