iOS 5 Features and Goodies!

Since iOS 5 has come out in beta for developers some new features have come to light which not only seem to obviate jailbreaking to a certain extent, but also bring the OS to a new level of social network integration and features that the more advanced iOS users have been clamoring for.  Some of these features include:

*Facetime over 3G.  Android devices having the capability to video chat over 3G/4G, this has to happen.

*Integration with social networks such as Facebook, Flickr, LinkedIn and MySpace (does anyone even use MySpace anymore?)

*Notifications Center, a brand new and revamped notification center (more info to come on this)

*iMessage, a new IM client available ONLY for iOS users.

*Newsstand, lets users manage, set-up, and read publications (magazines, etc..)

*New setup wizards which make it so you don’t need a computer to set up iOS and its various aspects.

*Full 1080p video playback

*Flash support for web browsing (yes, you read that right)

*Lockscreen Widgets

*FM Radio

And more to come!  Best of all, you can still jailbreak it tethered (we’ll see if this is true in the official release version) if you want to do various settings and UI tweaks.  iOS 5 looks like a pretty major OS update, and if the rumors of iPhone 4GS on Sprint/T-Mobile are true, then we might see a big push and Apple reclaim lost market share, as well as a decline in the need to jailbreak since carrier unlocks would be unnecessary.

Does this change your mind about iOS?

What else do you want this OS to accomplish?
