the last bullet is redundant -_-
but i wonder what this htcsense.com cloud service is? is it supposed to be like the htc sense hub from the desire hd? or something to do with windows 7 cloud? and is that the same 1st generation snapdragon processor found in the EVO or maybe the 2nd generation one in the HTC Thunderbolt? and why only wifi hotspot to 5 devices vs 8 like the EVO? (i admit i never used the option for more than 2 devices lol) i guess this announcement comes perfectly after verizon announced their iphone
and oh is that a front facing camera in the upper right? if so how many MP?
@pwnsicle –
It comes with the 2nd gen snapdragon, the cloud service I would assume would be the htc sense hub or whatever its called. Also I think that is the second camera on the upper right even though it looks like a notification light and its1.3mp. So yeah this is the gsm version to the thunderbolt. This phone was anounced at CES before the announcement of the iphone on verizon.
Sprint wins!!!
NO FRONT FACING CAMERA? fail.
Typo in the specs. Someone accidentally typed “4G” next to HSPA+.
@saibot – thats no typo HSPA+ is 4G
@eric12341 – It’s 3G technology that is now being called 4G, but we all know it’s still 3G. Even AT&T hasn’t called it 4G yet.
i wonder if they are going to charge their customers an extra $10 like sprint does
It just sucks all of the evos sisters is better than the evo more onboard memery and verizons versions the best 8 gb onboard plus a 32 gig that an animal right wish sprint would have did that.
@Anon9mouz – thats usually what happens. the new version is always better
@saibot – key word being “new” if I had to guess…..the article is straight from the source and I don’t see them correcting a typo
Also, when you look at the website for HTC it shows HTC Inspire 4G and the network says……HSPA
@saibot – T-Mobile is calling it 4G and so is the ITA (or whatever theyre called) now.
HSPA+ <<<<< You Call that a 4G?
Just like Tmobile.. man this is total DOO DOO.
