Will Samsung and Google be launching the Nexus Two?

You may have already heard that Google is currently working on the Nexus Two as the rumors and pictures have already spread like wild fires. Although some sources state that Google will be releasing theirs on November 8th other sources say this is in fact not true. Either way, if any of the rumors do prove to be correct, this essentially means that Google and Samsung will be releasing a phone with software designed solely by Google, possibly running Android 3.0 aka Gingerbread.

How are we so sure of the Samsung version? Sources at Gizmodo have confirmed that yes the Samsung version is real and has a front-facing camera. This is a great feature that has been very popular with the HTC Evo and should impress those interested in the Nexus Two, or whatever name Samsung decides to call it.

According to PCMag, when they reached out to Samsung and Google, both companies refused to comment so PCMag called around to their own sources and also confirmed this rumor about Samsung releasing a Nexus device is true. They couldn’t get any more information to give us an idea of what specifications it will have but I’m sure someone somewhere will find out soon. We will let you know as soon as we hear more.

Keep in mind these are rumors spreading with no real proof just yet. We can’t wait to find out more!!

UPDATE: Androidandme have gotten more information from a tipster claiming that the new Samsung Nexus has much better hardware than the Galaxy S and features a 1.2 GHz processor. He also thinks the design is “more sexy” than the Galaxy S.
