Some of you may ask, will I be able to hold this tablet in one hand? Yes! This brilliant 7-inch touch screen fits in one hand. The screen is only 3″ larger than the Droid X and is ultra-thin. The device will be running Android 2.2 platform. The next question may be will all of the applications available in the market render correctly on the nice 7″ screen?
Most applications should work normally on the Galaxy Tab according to Verizon Wireless. There may be applications
currently in the market that do not stretch completely to fit the entire screen. It will be up to app developers to adjust those applications to perform on this tab. This device will support full multi-tasking with one-click access to more than 80,000 apps!

Compared to the iPad:

  • Adobe Flash 10.1 support (none in iPad)
  • Front & Rear facing cameras (none on iPad)
  • Powerful Multitasking OS (no multitasking in iPad)
  • Thinner and lighter than iPad

What do you think? Is this a surprise to you? Will you be in stores on November 11, 2010 checking out this new tablet? If so let us know what you think!
