The new way to multitask!

Recently I was talking to a friend about my Touch Pro 2. He asked why that phone over the iPhone. As I proceeded to explain my list of things that are wrong with the iPhone (such as AT&T and the lack of multi-tasking capabilities), he interrupted me. Rude, I know, but he brought to my attention that multi-tasking now works on the iPhone. Granted, it must be jailbroken, but a small app called “Backgrounder” solves this.

I tried Backgrounder on his phone, but I wasn’t impressed. Fortunately for all of our iPhone readers, a new app has come into play. This one is called “Multifl0w” and provides a similar multi-tasking experience to the Palm Pre or Pixi.

The app has many features one would expect from a powerful task manager. For example, you can open an application and hold the home button to open another application. From there, you can switch between them for multi-tasking capabilities that emulate the experience of other devices.
