<p><strong>PPCG Note:</strong>  There&#8217;s been much debate over the use of task killers in Android.  Many say that its not necessary to run one.  Personally, I only have one installed in case I get a rogue app with a memory leak that gets stuck in the background.  Memory management is only as good as the apps, and sometimes there could be issues.  With that said, I don&#8217;t have any task killer set to automatically kill tasks, I just do it manually.</p>
