About two months ago we heard a rumor spreading that Sony Ericsson, who hasn’t even began introducing Android 2.0 devices yet, is at work on a special device that will redefine gaming on Google’s mobile platform. That rumor has proven to be correct so far and you should see this device on the market very soon, possibly running Android 3.0. This is a major step for Sony Ericsson to be taking. Jumping straight into Android 3.0 will be very interesting and should bring lots of attention from consumers.

Specifications found so far:

• 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655
• 512MB of RAM with 1GB of ROM
• custom Sony Marketplace
• 3.7 to 4.1 inch screen size
• multi-touch touchpad

According to Engadget the picture shown above is definitely a prototype model that still has a few bugs to be worked out. Once complete and closer to being released, I’m sure we will get our hands on a review and be able to give you more details. For now tell us what you think?
