More progress seems to be made everyday when it comes to unlocking Windows Phone 7. Last night, xboxmod over at XDA posted these screenshots showing how he was able to change the About screen and unlock some hidden settings on his phone by editing the registry via provxml.

Some people are reporting that these menus are already on their phones, so this seems to be hidden only on certain carriers. I can vouch that on At&t, I don’t have the 3G toggle (only cellular data on/off) and a different Ease Of Access menu.

He hasn’t reported any steps yet, but keep an eye on that thread because this could get exciting for us WP7 users!
