<p>You may have heard that HTC was planning a large press event in London this morning. While there&#8217;s not an official press release on HTC&#8217;s website yet, the interwebs are all hyped up about their announcements, which focused on three things. They announced the Desire HD, Desire Z, and a new and improved Sense interface.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s a list of what the new Sense experience will bring to the table (Source <a href="http://www.boygeniusreport.com/2010/09/15/details-on-htcs-sense/?utm_source=feedburner&#038;utm_medium=feed&#038;utm_campaign=Feed:+TheBoyGeniusReport+(Boy+Genius+Report)">BGR</a>):</p>
<ul>
<li>The boot time of Sense has been cut down to 10 seconds.</li>
<li>DLNA support is built in to allow content streaming to other DLNA devices.</li>
<li>A new incoming call screen slides up from the bottom of the screen instead of taking up the entire screen.</li>
<li>Maps will now cache data to facilitate quicker map rendering.</li>
<li>A digital compass is utilized to allow the map to orient itself to the direction you are heading.</li>
<li>The new Sense focuses on letting you control and interact with your data instead of merely presenting it to you.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>A new website will launch next month — htcsense.com — that will allow you to:</li>
<li>Backup and view text messages and call logs.</li>
<li>Remote wipe the device.</li>
<li>Enable call forwarding.</li>
<li>Send map coordinates or trip information.</li>
<li>Locate your phone.</li>
</ul>
<p><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" src="https://www.ppcgeeks.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/htc_desire_z_live_3-540x466.jpg" alt="" title="htc_desire_z_live_3-540x466" width="540" height="466" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6654" srcset="https://www.ppcgeeks.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/htc_desire_z_live_3-540x466.jpg 540w, https://www.ppcgeeks.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/htc_desire_z_live_3-540x466-300x258.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px" /><br />
Next on the list is their new Desire Z handset.  This is consider to be a business-oriented phone with a full slide-out qwerty keyboard.  It will feature a 3.7&#8243; screen, Froyo 2.2, and the new Sense interface. <p><img decoding="async" src="https://www.ppcgeeks.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/htc_desire_hd_live_9-533x500.jpg" alt="" title="htc_desire_hd_live_9-533x500" width="533" height="500" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6655" srcset="https://www.ppcgeeks.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/htc_desire_hd_live_9-533x500.jpg 533w, https://www.ppcgeeks.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/htc_desire_hd_live_9-533x500-300x281.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 533px) 100vw, 533px" /><br />
And finally, we have the Desire HD, complete with its 4.3&#8243; WVGA display and metal frame. Its almost like a GSM version of the Evo 4G with an 8MP camera and dual LED flash, and the same 1GHz Snapdragon processor.
