Available March 20th, this device is known as a Windows Phone 7 HTC 7 Pro in Europe and the HTC Arrive in the U.S. We just want to make sure you understand that first.
This device will also be launching with Microsoft’s anticipated copy and paste update. The copy and past feature seems to be really cool but tricky. You have to know how to use it. Sources originally thought that multiple pasting wasn’t available, when after making the video below they actually figured it out. Take a look at the quick video showing you how the copy and paste now works.

YAY! Sprint is getting closer to a Windows Phone 7 Device. Our friends over at WPCentral have posted some Valentines Day loving for Sprint users. Yes I did say Valentines day – I don’t know if anyone caught it or not but I am now so enjoy the little late Valentine’s love too. They found through 911HTC the finalized Sprint Rom for the HTC 7 Pro. This should mean we are getting close to a release day.

The website 911HTC, a sort of well known and more underground site, has posted what appears to be the Sprint ROM for the upcoming HTC 7 Pro. The site generally has a very good track record for these releases so we’re betting on legit here. I might add that it is not uncommon to find ROMs of unreleased devices making their way onto the ‘nets due to HTC’s FTP servers, which host the ROM files. (something for which they are trying to fix).

The ROMS name is: [WP7] RUU_Gold_C_Sprint_WWE1.25.651.01_1.51.00_RELEASE.exe. What is really significant is the “RELEASE” part which usually implies a finalized build.

There is no confirmation of release dates here Sprint users, but this is a sure thing that it is coming, and in fact can help us detect the name of the Device.. the Gold_C is commonly the device code name for the carrier. So let the rumors fly the device has a ROM finalized. PPCGeekers please tell me what you think about this device, is this one you would want to have in your pocket? Are you going to wait to see what Nokia and Microsoft make out of their team venture? Tell us below in the comment section!

**UPDATE**

This appears to only be for Microsoft Employees that are using Sprint and CDMA networks…

**END OF UPDATE**

So with the HTC 7 Pro recently getting FCC approval, would you be surprised to hear that Sprint would be taking pre-orders on December the 8th? It seems that the release date is roughly a month after AT&T and T-Mobile started selling their WP7 devices. This comes to no surprise to us here at PPCG, after Sprint was nice and cozy with Microsoft during the Sprint’s Developer Conference. Could the WP7 CDMA D-Day be coming sooner than later? Also where is Verizon in all of this? No word at this time when the “official” launch date will be of the CDMA version of WP7, but we will update this as we hear more information!

So if this is the latest and greatest for Sprint users, who will be pre-ordering their new devices on the 8th? I know I sure will be, just because I am liking how Windows Phone 7 is turning out to be so popular. Let PPCGeeks know what your thoughts and feeling is on this phone.

We’ve all been hearing about the new WP7 platform being released to GSM users but not many rumors about CDMA versions. Along with Sprint releasing their first CDMA WP7 device today in NYC, rumor is that Sprint will also be releasing another CDMA WP7 device soon that is manufactured by HTC.

According to intomobile.com, the suspected time of release for the HTC 7 Pro will be the first quarter of 2011. Some features of the HTC 7 Pro include a 1 Ghz Snapdragon processor, 576 MB of RAM, a 3.6-inch screen with WVGA resolution, a 5-megapixel camera capable of HD 720p video and it will have 16 GB of storage.

We’ve actually found a full spec sheet at frontsidebus.net on this device and want to share it with you here at PPCGeeks. See below.
