Could it be that CDMA users will be graced with another full QWERTY power house, only this time using Windows Phone 7? The FCC has given the green light to a CDMA Windows Phone 7 device by HTC, with signs pointing to it being the HTC 7 Pro. While it’s not certain where it’s going, or when, it’s under the assumption Sprint will receive this device early next year. Microsoft has already stated CDMA carriers wouldn’t see WP7 devices till the first portion of 2011, but with FCC approval already here in October, one can only hope for an official announcement to hit before the end of the year. With a slide-to-tilt mechanism similar to that of the HTC Touch Pro II, the HTC 7 Pro will be a WP7 powerhouse for all around media consumption, and Sprint may have a winner on their hands come early next year. Stay tuned, as we’ll be watching this one close!
