Some of you may already know as of yesturday the Samsung GT-i9200, a mystery device rumored to either be the Nexus S or the Galaxy S2, had a firmware leak and some users are calling it Gingerbread. Shortly after the news spread, developers at XDA were instantly trying to port the firmware from this device. They are still working hard to crack the codes and find out exactly what the firmware is.

Although nothing has been completely extracted just yet some users are almost positive this is the Nexus S firmware while others believe it’s definitely not. Some think it’s possibly even the Galaxy S2 or another mystery device we don’t know about yet. We will keep our eyes on that thread and see what else we can find out. If they prove this IS Gingerbread, that would be a nice early Christmas present, don’t you agree? For now let us know what you think. Seems like this article gives room for debates!
