In observance of the devices at CES this year, CNET noticed a trend that really sticks out to not only them but everyone else as well. Let’s see what our Geeks think!

The main trend that sticks out is the fact that not only are Android phones getting substantially faster with bigger screens, but they are growing thinner and lighter at the same time. Watch out iPhone! This is what most smartphone users want these days. A thin, fast device with a huge screen. Sounds like Android is still headed in the right direction to keep their customers satisfied doesn’t it?

As far as speeds and the processors getting faster we can give thanks to companies such as Samsung who are pushing out single-core processor handsets with impressive 1.2 GHz speeds. That’s another feature smartphone users are becoming addicted to. We want fast speeds for instant response times when we tell our phone to do something, wouldn’t you agree? Throw in a 1GB memory capacity, some of the new Android phones will also have this, and I think you have yourself a “superphone” as CNET called it.
