Sprint Reduces Voting Rights with Clearwire.

This is a move that I think we all saw coming eventually. Sprint has reduced it’s stake in clear wire from 50% to 49.8%. A move that makes Sprint less likely to be held accountable if Clearwire defaults. Most importantly though is that Sprint maintains54% of the economic stake in Clearwire. See what was happening was investors were worried that if Clearwire was to default (go under) that Sprint would end up having to pay that money back.

Sprint recently announced a new music service available for Android smartphones and most Blackberry devices as well. The name of this new music service is Sprint Music Plus which is powered by RealNetworks. This music service allows users to purchase DRM-free, MP3 music tracks and ringtones starting at just $0.69.

Windows Phone 7 Update Adds Copy and Paste Functionality

Microsoft has finally started rolling out the NoDo update after a few delays. The latest Windows Phone 7 device (HTC Arrive) has this update and seems to work well.
