3For all of our Verizon Android users out there, if you’re willing to take the chance, you can finally get Android 2.1 for your Motorola Droid or HTC Droid Eris, unofficially of course. So far, we’ve seen reports that the ROM is working good (here for the Droid Eris) once you figure out how to flash it (here is information about how to do it on the Eris). Here’s some information on getting it to work on the Motorola Droid. Here is some more information and a video of it running on a Droid. Many believe this will be the update that will be pushed OTA, but there’s no word on when that might happen.
