AT&T may be capping the upload speeds of non-iPhone devices.

You may remember our article written last month suggesting that AT&T may be capping data on 4G devices, such as the Atrix 4G. According to sources, AT&T is capping data speeds at 300 Kbps which is much slower than the iPhone at 1.5 Mbps.

More Sprint & T-Mobile Acquisition Rumors

We’ve heard rumors about a Sprint and T-Mobile merger in the past, and this is no different. This morning, Bloomberg is reporting about Sprint and Deutsche Telekom holding meetings to discuss a possible acquisition. The deal could reportedly give Deutsche Telekom a sizable stake in Sprint following the merger – up to 50%. Sprint had no comment, but a Deutsche Telekom spokesperson said the company “could sell all or part of the U.S. business, and all options are open.”

Overview of the Sprint HTC Arrive Windows Phone 7 Device

Take a look at the video Wirefly has recently posted giving you a detailed overview of the Sprint HTC Arrive. This Windows Phone 7 device rocks a 3.6″ LCD screen that does tilt when you slide open the keyboard. The Arrive has a 5MP camera with an LED flash and also supports HD video.

Sprint To Announce New Devices At CTIA

Sprint booked a two-and-a-half hour slot at the upcoming CTIA Wireless coming up in a few weeks. Engadget did some digging around and has come up with three possible devices that Sprint will announce in that slot. The candidates are the Nexus S 4G, Evo 3D, and Evo View. Read More…

RIM’s head of Marketing is leaving the company

Keith Pardy, head of marketing at Research In Motion is leaving the company in six months for personal reasons. This makes us wonder what changes will take place, if any, and is this a good or bad thing for RIM? They will soon launch their Blackberry Playbook tablet so this notice of resignation comes as a huge surprise to RIM right before the launch.
