Finally users of Verizon Wireless service have had the pleasure of owning the first ever LTE smartphone that hit their market. The HTC Thunderbolt has been a great success so far and it’s actually the most talked about handset still to this day. Remember back when Google first launched the Nexus One and how their goal was to get it on every major US carrier? There was even a rumor that it was going to be released on Sprint, but that was pulled at the last minute, presumably because of the launch of the HTC Evo 4G. Well now the wait is over. Sprint’s latest WiMAX device, the Overdrive Pro 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot from Sierra Wireless has recently been announced and you’ll be seeing it available March 20, 2011. Pricing is marked at only $49.99 after a $50.00 mail-in rebate. This device will allow Sprint users to connect up to eight Wi-Fi enabled devices to share a 3G/4G connection.

Samsung recently confirmed the Galaxy Player 4” and Galaxy Player 5” will be available in the United States. These devices are packed with 1GHz CPU’s, Wi-Fi, front and back facing cameras, Qik video calling support and more.
Another interesting specification confirmed by Samsung is that the portable music players will be upgradeable to Android 2.3 (Gingerbread OS).
