Wow!! That is cool Courtney!! Thank you for your awesome research!!
looks nice, cant wait til’ they support optimus devices.
As a FireFox fan..I still prefer the new Opera Mobile 11 better :/…plus Firefox has no flash support yet..maybe next version…
Still prefer DolphinHD. Best Android browser, period. ;]
agree on dolphin hd
Man, behind the times, thanks for the tip… downloading now… jejeje
I’m not installing just based on the comments in the Market. I guess I’ll keep using Xscope, after all, why mess w/ the best.
Ill try it out, but I’m definitely sticking with Dolphin HD. Plus gten said there’s still no flash support, big let down.
What’s the point of this if Google chrome is superior to Firefox? And the stock Android browser is based off Google chrome,if these browsers want to succeed they have to have a feature to prevent the mobile sites from bein forced on people and that is something the IE in wp7 does well.
@eric12341, You can prevent mobile sites being forced just by changing the user agent..that said the Chrome inside Android is older..FF4 brings higher HTML5 supports and hardware acceleration…That said Opera right now is better then FF in that it brings Hardware acceleration and HTML5 support + has flash..and flash plays very smoothly…
@gTen, why go through all the trouble to try to “force it” when u can just enable hit by flipping a switch? This was why I mainly used IE on my tp2 and iris on my TP.
@eric12341, Well depends on the browser..I know in IE on TP2 I select desktop and some sites still force me into mobile view…all browsers have the desktop view and mobile view..just some copy desktop UA, while others give a hybrid profile..if the site does not honor the hybrid profile it gets sent to mobile anyways…
I know opera uses hybrid, so does IE so there are sites that don’t honor it so it has to be forced..on default chrome browser it uses Desktop UA and works fine for desktop view…Don’t remember for firefox…
Dolphin HD runs circles around this browser
