Bizzy for Android – Now Available
Bizzy is an application recently launched on Android that has been available for iOS for sometime now. If you are unfamiliar with Bizzy, it’s very similar to Foursquare and Yelp but has a few more cool features. Instead of checking into places, you are checking out. Of course there is more to it than that. Keep reading to find out all about it.
Basically it's a recommendation engine that helps you locate restaurants, shops and entertainment places that are nearby you. When you first sign up, you’re asked to answer several questions so it can get a general feel for what you’re into and where you normally go for snacks, coffee, dining, etc. Based on your interests and recommendations of others, the application offers up places you’d likely be interested in when you’re looking for a restaurant or bar.

Seems interesting. Do they seem to have a big database for reviews? That’s one thing I liked about Yelp.
I like these apps, they allow you to see what someone has rated somewheere… That has saved me many times… I dont want to take my wife out to “Le-Crappe Cafe” just cus its “French”… I like to be able to see that someone says… “Dont go there, its CRAPPE”…
Now if we could just get all these databases together into one application… But heaven forbid that MS, APPLE, GOOGLE, RIM would ever agree to multiplatform deals where all the apps can share this info.
getting off topic… anyway, nice app, checking it out on the evo…
It looks nice, but seems useless in a place where the largest metropolitan area is 51k people…. I’ll just ask a neighbor.
