Now Sprint is wiping out one year upgrades!? – Proof Inside

Our users asked if this would happen, some said it would and some said it wouldn’t. Well, it’s looking like Sprint is going to make the jump similar to Verizon and completely remove one year upgrades. This is part of the changes taking place with Sprint Premier features and benefits. Was this what you expected?

For those of you with Sprint who are waiting to use that one year upgrade, you better do it now and wait no longer because soon it’s not going to be available. Yes, Sprint’s putting every customer in a sticky situation at this point. If you bought your last contract-discounted phone before May 31, 2009, you’re essentially sneaking in under the deadline, with your qualification for the 22-month discount coming up before your 12-month discount expires.

How does this make you feel?

UPDATE: Take a look at what one of our users received below, just for confirmation. It looks like some may still receive it, only one qualifying line a year though and also only if you are Gold status. When we find out for sure, we’ll let you know.
