BREAKING NEWS: Droid Bionic rumored to be running Android 3.0 (Honeycomb)

Thanks to a tipster we heard a rumor that the Droid Bionic is said to be running Android 3.0 (aka Honeycomb.) Some say that honeycomb was supposed to be for tablets only but according to this tipster, that may not be the case.

The CDMA Verizon iPhone 4 – available February 10, 2011!

Finally, the rumors are over! Proof is here and thankfully we don’t have to wonder anymore. Apple and Verizon have confirmed today that the iPhone is coming to Big Red. Verizon CEO Lowell Mcadam was the one who confirmed that a CDMA (non-LTE) version of the iPhone 4 is coming to Verizon Wireless next month, expect it by February 10, 2011.

Windows Phone 7 BootLoader?!?

Now here is something we all know about. It appears that the HTC WP7 device HTC HD7 has a bootloader! Say what Jason?!?! No this is not because of a custom rom, or anything like that. In fact the article says we don’t know why it showed up. It just did. We all thought that a Bootloader existed but we were not 100% sure. Now we know that the old SPL system is there somewhere at least.

All-in-one Windows Phone 7 Device Manager Coming This Week? (Homebrew)

Julien Scapman, the developer behind TouchXperience from Windows Mobile has confirmed that he’s working on an all-in-one device manager for Windows Phone 7 devices. Its said to let you manager your device, unlock it, install/uninstall sideloaded apps, explore the device, transfer and sync files, etc. Its also reported to let you do this over WiFi as well as USB. Here’s the kicker…he even went on record to say the first version will be released within the next few days!

Windows Phone 7 Write To Registry Working

More progress seems to be made everyday when it comes to unlocking Windows Phone 7. Last night, xboxmod over at XDA posted these screenshots showing how he was able to change the About screen and unlock some hidden settings on his phone by editing the registry via provxml. Read more…

Windows Phone 7 Speed Updates On Video

We all know about the update coming to Windows Phone 7 devices soon. We know that it’ll include Copy & Paste and other performance improvements. Now, there’s finally a video floating around that shows the app loading difference between a v1.0 phone and one with the update. These improvements will help some apps more than others, and the good news is that the developer doesn’t need to change anything in their app to take advantage of these updates. Read more…

Were waiting for Tuesday – Verizon iPhone rumors shall finally RIP!

We’ve read, heard and answered all the questions we can about the Verizon iPhone rumors in the last few years. Finally these rumors will be able to RIP when the truth will be announced this coming Tuesday. Recently the Wall Street Journal even confirmed that the iPhone will be announced and so far they have been correct in all of their predictions on this topic. We can only wait and find out details!
