HTC releasing three new tablets in first half of 2011 – First one in March
For the amount of HTC addicts out there, this will be great news for you! Spreading like wildfires across the web now is HTC's plan to launch three tablet PC's in the first half of 2011. No that image above isn't it but it is an example of what it could be like, we don't know for sure.
The first model, the Flyer, is said to begin shipping in the US market in March according to distributors. The Flyer is said to run Android 2.3 but we have no confirmation on that or any other specs it may have. Also, according to the tipster at DigiTimes, users will be able to upgrade to Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) whenever the operating system becomes available.
HTC's goal is said to be beating the Blackberry Playbook as well as the Motorola Xoom in sales. Who will win that race? Let us know who you think. It will be interesting to see how well any tablet sales in 2011, mainly these mentioned.
Are you patiently waiting for HTC to get started releasing Tablets? I sure am! Let us know what you think!

Look like I’m get another tablet
Yup, HTC is what I like… Guess soon I will be joining the tablet world!!! jejeje
still patiently waiting for a tablet, lets go HTC!
Personally I am still not sold on tablets but if htc can make a very attractive one then maybe, just maybe I may bite. Just as long as they don’t price them through the roof like the motorola zoom at $800(based on a verizon leak), thats just rediculous.
^ thats xoom with an x
They better step up their GPU or my $249 Nook Color will eat whatever they put out for lunch!
Hope they come with sense 2. I have been hoping these would come. I had faith. Can’t wait, 7″-9″ range please HTC!?
hmm seems like ill hold off getting the 10inch one from archos. cant wait to see what comes from this
Tempting, but I still feel a little queasy about an Android tablet while Netflix instant streaming remains absent. I’ve grown fond of the slate concept more for media consumption, gaming, and casual internet use than for work and note-taking (my old Tablet-PC affair), and well…Netflix is part of my leisure. I know it’s inevitable, but if it’s more than a year away, an iPad might still be the better route to take.
And heck, in two years, Redmond might ACTUALLY come up with something convincing in Windows 8. Crazier things have happened.
