BREAKING NEWS: Android Finally Tops iPhone in Total Users
Finally, Android has caught up to the iPhone in total users as of November of last year. Hopefully Decembers reports will be even better for them. Not that I have anything against the iPhone but Android has come a long ways in just a couple of years!
Blackberry is still at the top of the list as of November as well with 33.5% of users, but that number marks a drop from August, when Blackberry held 37.6%. Apple’s iPhone held relatively steady up from 24.2% in August to 25% in November. Meanwhile, Android continued its huge growth climbing up from 19.6% in August to 26% in November, claiming #2 on the list from comScore.
Most of the smartphone users expect Blackberry to lose it's position very soon with the rate Android is growing. Maybe Blackberry has a huge plan, especially with the Playbook and maybe they plan to keep that spot. Only time will tell. What do you think?

Congratulations GOOGLE & ANDROID!!!! However as gten said on the other post its pretty impressive that apple even tho being only on one carrior officially had they lead so long and they arent even that far behind, pretty impressive..
this is only because they’re selling some low end Android phones at the same price as feature phones and are even available on prepaid plans. it’s aggressive marketing and only causes more fragmentation in the platform.
the reason doesn’t matter, stop the hate, we also forget that apple has been around for 5 years and android just had its 2nd bday. first everybody complains about fragmentation but as soon as google takes it, then well its fragmentations fault again. so is fragmentation good or bad? obviously apple iphone is on one carrier for a reason (we just don’t know that reason) but you aren’t smarter then steve jobs, so him putting it on one carrier is for a reason.
it was you fandroid freaks who started this hate. downtalkin MS on every article posted. i was the one who wanted Android and MS users to be allied against iUsers but NOOOO! so now I’m on the defensive and the iPhone isn’t going to be on jus one carrier anymore so obviously jobs realized he made a bad decision to begin with like he does with the prices of his products which are all 1.5-2x the price of non crapple devices that do the same exact thing. ¿cómo lo ves?
Hmmm the iPhone is available on many carriers around the world, not just one?
