If you follow the official Windows Phone twitter page, you and many others including Engadget may have already read this tweet posted on Thursday. Or you could be one of those who don’t use twitter or just didn’t see it. If not it’s great news if it’s true!
As you can see in the image the tweet claims that Windows Phone 7 “devices” are headed to Verizon for the “holiday season” and “more” will arrive in early 2011. So what does the bold print that we have quoted say to you? As Engadget mentioned, “devices” does suggest more than one phone as well as this “holiday season” being before the end of the year. This makes us wonder just how soon we will see Verizon with a Windows Phone 7 device.
Following that post on twitter by Windows Phone they mention “Verizon is a valued partner and we look forward to seeing Windows Phone 7 devices in their stores in 2011.” As of now they haven’t said anything else about possibly releasing these during the holidays but that first tweet hasn’t been taken down either. So that’s sort of strange and makes you wonder doesn’t it? Let us know what you think.
