CES 2011 Mobile Apps Showdown – Enter Your App Now!

Some of you may ask what is CES?  The International CES is produced by the Consumer Electronics Association and represents more than 2,000 corporate members involved in the design, integration of consumer electronics and much more. The CES happens once a year and is the largest consumer electronics trade show in the world. All profits from CES are reinvested into industry services, including technical training and education, industry promotion, engineering standards development and more.

Now for the fun stuff! If you are a developer and have your own application, this is the time to get your entry into CES, especially if you are confident in your work. We say confident because there is a rather high entry fee. The first application entered will cost $1,000 and each additional application will cost $850.

Keep in mind though if you are among the top ten finalists, you will be recognized by several VIP’s across the mobile industry and internet. How you say? By taking part in a demo competition in front of a live and online CES audience and the winner will be declared based on audience applause-o-meter and an online vote. Isn’t that interesting and what you would like to do to get your application recognized? Why not go for it? If you’re shy, get over it because this is your time to shine!

The deadline for application submissions are November 31, 2010 so you have a whole month if you are working hard to finish up your application. Get going and get your application in so you can have a chance at a huge opportunity dealing with the mobile industry.
