Just messed around with my co-workers and this a nice phone. Super smooth! And not as big in hand as I was afraid it would be. Can’t wait till June for the Evo to come out for us Sprint users.
Just got mine, very light and thin, more than expected. HTC’s port of the keyboard is what I have been waiting for. Pushing hard all morning without a hicup. try downloading 7 apps at the same time on the Droid and see what happens.
It’s smooth and sexy! Really I haven’t found a flaw yet, I hope it stays that way. Just need roots now!
Got mine yesterday. All I got to say is this, STRAIGHT AWESOME!!!
DAMN, another android phone… I think I’m going to say good bye to my WM Touch Pro 2 and say hello to Android pretty soon, but I have a problem… I’m a QWERTY keyboard person, and there is not that much in selection of phones… damn it =(
try one without and return it if u dont like it leon
Very similar to Sprint’s HTC EVO. Check out the difference at: http://www.sprint.com/evo
And most importantly, the HTC Evo is 4G (10x faster internet speeds than 3G) and plans are cheaper with Sprint. $69.99 450 Everything Data which includes UNLIMITED Any Mobile Any Time (unlimited calling minutes to any cellphone number in the USA), Data, Texting, Picture and Video Messaging, Sprint Navigation, TV and Radio.
In recent studies conducted by third party surveys Sprint beat Verizon in Voice coverage by 2 million pops.
I wrok for Sprint and wanted to share this info in hopes to save you money.
@miguelberrios76 –
1) I can almost guarantee you Wimax will cost more that $70 a month (but Sprint owns vzw in price)
2) “4G” is not going to have an actual national rollout for a while, I live in the 3rd largest city in the country and there’s no 4G on the horizon
3) We all know how awesome the Evo is going to be but some people don’t want 4.3″ and want the phone now (not in June or whenever).
Having said that I’d rather have an Evo on Sprint, but you have to admit the incredible is a pretty sweet device.
@miguelberrios76 – I agree 100%!
@orangekid –
Very well said. It’s sad that people can’t just let people enjoy something for a while without coming here and talking about how “my dad can beat up your dad”.
I would say that pretty much anyone who frequents this web site knows exactly what the difference is between the Incredible and the Evo, so trying to “convince” anyone to buy one over the other is like preaching to the choir.
Is the Evo a great phone (at least on paper, we’ll know more when we actually get it in hand)? Sure. Is the Incredible a great phone? Absolutely. Am I going to switch to Sprint just so I can get the Evo? Absolutely not. I’m more than happy with Verizon and I’m more than happy with my Incredible that I bought yesterday.

hahaha, good idea ^_^
I like it so far….I am not used to the android yet but it has a huge amount of apps. I will give it try for the 30 days.
Also, 4G is *potentially* “10x” as fast as 3G – and that means Sprint’s 3G coverage. In the tests I’ve seen with the tech, it really doesn’t come close to actually being 10x as fast as a full-strength 3G connection (especially when compared to AT&T).
