Facebook 1.2 Officially In Marketplace
![]()
In the first week of February, Facebook 1.1.0.14 from the smartphone Marketplace was pulled by a XDA user and made available to us touchscreen users. Well now Microsoft has made this app officially available for touchscreen devices. The blogosphere is calling it v1.2, but its really 1.1.0.17 on the About screen.
You can download it from the Microsoft Marketplace here.

This is awesome! Thanks a lot for the share.
It’s not actually 1.2. It seems to be v1.1.0.17
@devinc – Everyone is referring to it as 1.2 for some reason.
Just noticed it, but once you install this version it automatically updates your status so it says “installed Facebook for Windows Phone”
I’m still not able to download V1.2. I’ve downloaded the app from the store and from my pc and both of them are Vesions 1.1.0.17
Yeah definitely not the 1.2 I installed it and it shows 1.1.0.17 the scrolling is pretty bad like before and it takes forever to update.
It is version 1.1.0.17, which is the newest version. See my post above, the blog world is referring to it as v1.2 for some reason.
anyone know whats the difference between 1.1.0.17 and 1.007?
Nice additions with the ability to comment, etc and notifications are improved. The app is faster, always a good thing in a 1X area…
Checking it out now.
