Is The Zune Phone Alive? Maybe!
We've heard the rumors of a Zune Phone for a while now, and many Windows Mobile users feel that it would be a great interface to have on a phone. Similar to how Apple made the iPod Touch into the iPhone, Microsoft would be taking its popular mp3 player, the Zune, and making it into a phone. Spanish tech site MuyComputer has started a new rumor that the Zune Phone will be announced this month, possibly at the Mobile World Congress. While we call it a rumor, they say it is 100% confirmed.
The Zune Phone is said to have a NVIDIA Tegra inside, 480 x 272 screen, HDMI out, and weigh about 2.45 ounces and run Windows Mobile 7. If its true that WM7 will be announced at the MWC this month, what would be a better device to use as a demo?

I told my wife 5 months ago that I would keep the TP2 for the next 2 years. If this is true then I just lied to her. I lost my Zune 80gb and I am about to get a Zune HD. Ill get a used 80gb and keep that till this comes out.

Personally I think the titanium interface sucks. My main complaint is it doesnt show enough information. Its really just a beefed up version of the smart phone interface. Come on microsoft you can do better than this.

titanium UI is the best out of everything out right now, it shows everything you want it to show

Titanium shows more info than the iPhone and is extremely fast so I dont think it is the worst UI ever
Titanium isnt the worst ui ever it just isnt the sexiest. Its very clean and professional though. Makes it easier to get to stuff with one hand in my opinion. Either way, if a zune phone were to be released and it was anywhere close to being as sexy as the zune hd then i kiss my palm pre goodbye in a heartbeat. The zune hardware is just sexy, in my opinion no other mobile device comes close. However i probably would miss webos.
The problem with titanium is.. its UGLY.. and maybe too simple. This wont appeal to the masses, which are more concerned with looks… but who really wants to look at something so hideous every time they use their phone

I just cant believe Microsoft would run it on tmobile in this country. I understand europe, but here you would think they would want it on VZW. Put it on VZW and let it go head to head with the ATT Iphone. Hopefully we would get a shot at it on Sprint if this occurs. This is close to my dream phone ifit pans out.
