Windows Live for Windows® phone has been updated to version 10.7.0061.0500.2000 from the previous version of 10.7.0060.2300.3000. Not a major update by any means, but an update it is. I can spot no changes, visually or otherwise, but if you do, please share in the comments below!
You can go here to download via your computer or go to http://wl.windowsmobile.com/ via your phone to download the update. *Please note that WindowsLive_0409.PPC2005_arm.cab is English-only. |

BEWARE: The download page says it’s for “non-toch phones”.
lol get your facts right please…
“Now you can stay connected to those that matter most with Windows Live™ for Windows® phone. Windows Live Messenger, Hotmail®, Photos and the “What’s New” feed are now all available on your 6.x Windows® phone. Windows Live™ for Windows® phone (Pro) is for use with a touch phone.”
I’m always weary about the “small” updates. Usually with most “small updates” you actually lose functionality in some way. Beware of what you update (like the HTC Touch Pro update for WM 6.1 on Sprint… they kinda forget to mention in the release notes that that removed any tethering abilities for the rom…….
I’ve updated and it doesn’t fix the delete email sync issue I’ve been having since I’ve used hotmail/live on my Touch Pro. I’ve used dozens of different roms and all have the same problem. I haven’t noticed any other differences besides the home screen of WL having a list of stuff on it… but then again I never paid that much attention to that screen.
@danny6514 –
At the time I posted the mobile site was only displaying the “standard” version which is for non-touchscreen devices. But now I see that a “pro” version is up for touchscreens.
Don’t open your mouth before you get the other sides story.
First off, take a look at the screenshot, that’s clearly the professional version, no need to debate about that. I checked the website before you posted the link. Also, the link was posted on January 8th, 2010, two days before you posted the link.
