So, you want the Palm Pre/Pixi on Verizon?
How about if I do you one better? How about the Palm Pre PLUS and the Palm Pixi PLUS coming to Big Red? That’s right, sometime in 2010 Verizon will be launching both of WebOS-enabled devices. What is with the PLUS you ask me? Well, the Pre PLUS will come with double the amount of storage memory as the original Sprint-branded device did, bringing the total to 16GB. And the Pixi PLUS will get the much sought after Wifi accessibility. Not too much more is known, but I do have a leaked spec sheet after the break.

Palm and Verizon Announce the Pre and Pixi Plus
Today, 1:40 PM by Eric M. Zeman
Today Palm announced an update to the Pre and Pixi devices. Changes compared to the original Pre include an updated design, twice the internal memory (16GB of storage) and an included Touchstone-compatible back cover. The Pre Plus also removes the navigation button. Palm also announced the Pixi Plus. It now includes Wi-Fi, which was missing on the Sprint version of the phone. Palm also announced that there will be more back covers for the Pixi. A new application for the Pre and Pixi Plus will make the devices mobile hotspots similar to the Novotal MiFi. It will support up to five other devices over Wi-Fi. Both devices will be available exclusively on the Verizon Wireless network on January 25.
