The new way to multitask!
Recently I was talking to a friend about my Touch Pro 2. He asked why that phone over the iPhone. As I proceeded to explain my list of things that are wrong with the iPhone (such as AT&T and the lack of multi-tasking capabilities), he interrupted me. Rude, I know, but he brought to my attention that multi-tasking now works on the iPhone. Granted, it must be jailbroken, but a small app called "Backgrounder" solves this.
I tried Backgrounder on his phone, but I wasn't impressed. Fortunately for all of our iPhone readers, a new app has come into play. This one is called "Multifl0w" and provides a similar multi-tasking experience to the Palm Pre or Pixi.
The app has many features one would expect from a powerful task manager. For example, you can open an application and hold the home button to open another application. From there, you can switch between them for multi-tasking capabilities that emulate the experience of other devices.

The multifl01 app costs $4.99 in Cydia. I was interested in downloading it on my jailbroken iPod Touch, but I will never pay for something that should be standard in the OS. Backgrounder will have to do. Main reason why I gave up on the iPhone a while ago… Paying for things that should be standard on the phone.
so you take 1 of 1,000 or even 10,000 or even 1 in a million iphones can do this but have to be jail broken and 1 out of 1000 did it them selves while others paid someone to do what they could have done them selves for free, and yet 1 out of 1 wm devices do this out of the box. i’ not bashing the iphone, but at same time……… I am.
hehehe… above cracked me up!!!
This kind of thing really amuses me.
Mac fanboys can never fault anything with their products. It’s funny to me that they are easily willing to jail break their iphones, but if the same had to be done on a Windows phone, it would be a fatal flaw in the OS.
I can’t wait to see the surprise on the face of people who think WM is done when they discover that isn’t going to be the case.
Try Kirikae, free on Cydia. Not as flash, but functional.
