Motorola DROID to get OTA Update Soon


Amid all of the hype regarding the Android 2.0.1 SDK today, Verizon sweetened the pot with an announcement that an OTA update for the Motorola DROID will be made available “in the coming weeks.” A few of the announced fixes will be for voice reception and the 5.0 megapixel camera’s notorious inabaility to correctly focus on subjects. There will undoubtedly be other enhancements and issue resolutions in the OTA update, though more specifics are not yet known.
