March 2010 is when Microsoft will announce their plans for Windows Mobile 7. This date has been confirmed by Microsoft Office Vice President Kurt Delbene as he told Neowin.com. This correlates with our earlier post that WM 7 will be RTM in March 2010. Also, in light of Microsoft using the Office Mobile 7 Mock Up on their website, this shows that nothing can stay leak free forever.

In what appears as another nod towards confirming how Windows Mobile 7 will look like when it is released next year, Microsoft has posted the Office Mobile 7 UI concept that we reported on a few weeks back on their main Office website as a screen shot of Office Mobile 2010. The image can be found on this page, although we are unsure how much longer it will be up. Huge tip of the hat to Stephen Chapman who originally reported this on his site, MSFTKitchen.com.
This is yet another confirmation that this will indeed be the layout of Windows Mobile 7 when it is released. Only time will tell as we get closer to the scheduled release.
Below is how it looks on their site.

Office Mobile 2010 Beta has appeared in the Microsoft Marketplace. It has a timebomb that will expire on April 5, 2010. It will uninstall any previous versions of Office Mobile as well, however, it does state that if Office Mobile came pre-installed on your device that it will not be affected.
Its features include:
Download it from the Windows Marketplace for Mobile here.

Opera has released a public beta of its Opera Mobile 10 browser. So far reviews seem to be pretty good, with people saying its rendering almost as fast as Opera Mini, and the fact that it has some nice, improved zooming features.
Since its still a beta, there are bound to be some bugs. Here’s the list of improvements from Opera:

With all the hardships we face each day (scratched screens, dead batteries, no 3G coverage), I would like to share a comic with you from Randall Munroe over at xkcd.com. It covers a topic PPCG has covered in the past and is especially relevant due to the recent launch of the Droid smart phone. So please sit back and enjoy the laughter!

With the release of the Touch Pro 2, users are frantically looking for ways to protect their product. While holsters do a great job of offering mobility, they don’t do justice for when the device is actually in your hands being used. Most of the time this is when the phone may drop, or get scratched, making you wish you’d want to jump off a bridge for damaging your phone.
Finding hard cases to protect your phone isn’t that difficult. Ebay has a large collection, although most of the time, result in a low quality feel and doesn’t always fit that well. Thankfully Seidio has expanded their line-up of Touch Pro 2 accessories with their latest offering, the Seidio Innocase Surface, which provides an amazing layer of protection without added bulk.
