Just a note, both Bell and Telus in Canada will be going GSM soon. Bell for sure will be getting the iPhone and I think Telus will also get it.

well, even though it is the iphone, it’s a phone, with some pc functionality, and it fits in your pocket. Even if that wasn’t true, having the iphone on your carrier does affect ppc users, just like the hero did on sprint people. Some of the diamond chefs have left for hero forums

This would be great if Apple would create a CDMA version of the iphone. Sprint would be the perfect host if this was to happen. I think 4G is fast enough to power the mighty iphone.
