sprint released something like this a couple of years ago. I love it, its awesome...It does last for 2 charges and found it on Ebay for 25 bucks brand new. Good idea by HTC but not a new idea.

The easiest thing i found is those energizer chargers that use 2 double aa's. i was able to charge my phone about 2 times using regular aa's. it only cost me 19 bucks. if this werent so expensive i would consider it cuz i cant last through my day with the stock battery.

I have 2 batteries I never have a problem. Bought a cheap aftermarket battery paid less then $10 its lasted over 6 mos. so far and keeps the phone running for about 6 hrs with heavy use.

Doh, the battery bank is $70, missed that. Still think I like the Duracell better, if I were in the market for one.

There are plenty of other options that are FAR cheaper, maybe not as compact, but $700 for basically 2 (or less) charges is insane. Like this Duracell mobile pack that's around $100 anf is 4000mAh.

<a href="http://www.duracellpower.com/portable-power/portable-chargers/powersource-mobile-100.aspx" rel="nofollow">Duracell PowerSource Mobile 100</a>

Can't promised anything. We can all hope that PPCG carries it in their upcoming store. It would be nice to support PPCG at the same time as getting somthing we want. If you need it now, you can always try http://tinyurl.com/ngjnrf
